Cooperation Education Camp
According to the approved program of this institution for the fiscal year 2080/81, a Cooperative Education Camp was successfully conducted in Lamsalthumka, Ward No. 7, Mandandeupur, under the organization of the Kunta Service Center. The event was held with the objective of informing members about the current status of the institution, and it saw the participation of 84 members of the institution. The program was chaired by Rameshwar Sapkota, the coordinator of the Kunta Service Center Management Committee, and the chief guest was Vishnu Prasad Poudel, the Ward Chairman of Mandandeupur Ward No. 7.
The event was also attended by former Ward Chairman Narayan Prasad Lamsal, social workers Ramesh Lamsal and Ramkumar Dulal, Service Center Management Committee member Shambhu Prasad Parajuli, and board member Buddhi Prasad Parajuli, among others. Present at the event were the Chief Executive Officer of the institution, Thakurnath Adhikari, the Head of the Economic Department, Manup Sapkota, and Kunta Service Center Head, Santosh Adhikari, along with other employees. The CEO and the Head of the Economic Department facilitated the members by providing information about the institution.
Through the program, members had the opportunity to learn about the institution's latest status and the services, facilities, and programs being provided. Guest Narayan Prasad Lamsal emphasized the importance of becoming a member of a cooperative that embodies the spirit and values of cooperation, and stressed the need for regular savings. Chief guest Vishnu Prasad Poudel, Ward Chairman of Ward No. 7, mentioned that the cooperative is an institution that understands the grievances, desires, and aspirations of its members, and that savings and loan transactions should be conducted through the institution. He emphasized that members play a crucial role in making the institution strong and member-centric.
Rameshwar Sapkota, the coordinator of the Kunta Service Center, expressed that the institution's programs, such as pilgrimage tours for senior members, member recognition, health treatment support, mobile banking, and health camps, have strengthened the relationship between the institution and its members. During the event, three collection centers were also established in Lamsalthumka.
