Semi-Annual Review Meeting

The semi-annual review meeting of the organization for the fiscal year 2081/82 has been successfully completed. The meeting was held today, Magh 17, 2081, at the Panchkhal Municipality Hall, chaired by the organization’s President, Mr. Babukaji Parajuli. The program was graced by the presence of Mr. Sundar Tamang, Ward Chairperson of Panchkhal Municipality Ward No. 4, as the Chief Guest, along with the organization’s advisors, Board of Directors, Audit Supervision Committee, Service Center Management Committee, various sub-committees, and management/staff members. The meeting was conducted by Secretary Mr. Ram Prasad Koirala, and a welcome speech was delivered to the participants by Director Member Mr. Bishnu Prasad Parajuli. The Chief Guest inaugurated the program by lighting the ceremonial lamp and offering flowers to the cooperative campaign workers.

The organization’s Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Thakurnath Adhikari, presented the review report including the status of the organization up to the end of Paush 2081, achievements of the targets set according to the strategic plan, and the upcoming plans and budget. In his congratulatory remarks, the Chief Guest Mr. Sundar Tamang highlighted that Aarthik Bikash, being financially strong and capable, actively engages members not only in financial transactions but also in health, relief programs from birth to death, and leads in fulfilling social responsibility. During the discussion on the semi-annual review, outgoing President Mr. Saroj Sapkota stated that all activities carried out by keeping members at the center have been successful. Similarly, Audit Coordinator Mr. Badri Acharya emphasized that all stakeholders must remain responsible in their roles. Founder President Mr. Ishwari Rajkumar Mainali suggested focusing on qualitative outcomes in addition to quantitative results and increasing member engagement through encouragement and awards. Advisor Mr. Ramsharan Luitel stressed the need for coordination and formation of task forces to achieve the set goals.

Regarding queries raised during the program, the Chief Executive Officer Mr. Thakurnath Adhikari shared institutional views on existing cooperative-related challenges, legal complexities, and recent changes in laws. Finally, President Mr. Babukaji Parajuli emphasized that the organization must work together on increasing membership, capital deployment, member engagement, member protection, and welfare programs while reviewing past activities and planning future programs and budget.
