Headquartered in Panchkhal Municipality, Arthik Bikas Mitra Saving and Credit Cooperative has established itself as one of the most trusted and outstanding cooperatives in the entire Kavrepalanchok district. Founded in 2062 BS (2005 AD) with just 37 founding members, the cooperative today proudly serves more than 11,488 members and over 4,300 child savers, becoming the shared asset of more than 15,000 families.

Member-Centric Policies and Services

Health and Welfare Benefits

Every member contributes NPR 2,000 (one-time, refundable) to the Health Relief Fund upon joining and receives:

  • Up to NPR 7,500 relief if hospital expenses exceed NPR 15,000
  • Maternity benefit: NPR 1,500 cash for the mother + NPR 500 savings account opened in the newborn’s name
  • In case of a member’s death: NPR 15,000 to the family + NPR 7,500 for funeral expenses
  • NPR 100,000 accidental death & disability insurance
  • 10–20% discount on medicines and services at Panchkhal Polyclinic, CWC Banepa, and Sir Memorial Hospital, Banepa
